The grapes that make up this wine come from different sub-regions of Dão, where the vines are between 100 and 120 years old.
Many of these grapes come from single-variety vineyards, but also from vineyards with a vast mixture of typical regional varieties, such as Encruzado, Malvasia fina, Uva Cão, Rabo de carneiro, Branda, Barcelo, Douradinha, among others.
It shows a light citrus and crystalline color.
The fresh and mineral profile reveals the fantastic terroir where the vineyards are planted.
It has a complex aroma, with a very present floral and delicate character.
It presents notes of sea air, seaweed and white flowers, all in a very complex and seductive combination.
Tense and vibrant in the mouth, slightly unctuous, with a very present acidity, it expresses great elegance and complexity.
Very long finish, with slight smoky and salty notes.
It is a white that will benefit greatly in the bottle.
The perfect glass to serve it in will be in “Burgundy” style glasses.
